Service scope
ExtensionGate provides automated static analysis and preparation materials for Chrome and Microsoft Edge extension submissions. It does not support Firefox, act for a browser store, provide legal advice, certify compliance, or guarantee approval.
Your responsibilities
You must have authority to analyze the package, protect credentials and customer data, verify findings, test runtime behavior, provide truthful store disclosures, and comply with applicable law and store policies. Do not use the service to analyze malicious packages or violate others' rights.
Results and availability
Results can be incomplete, false positive, false negative, or outdated. Store requirements and reviewer interpretations change. The service may impose documented safety limits, refuse unsafe archives, change rules, or be interrupted for maintenance or security.
Release Pass
The Release Pass is a $19 one-time, non-renewing 30-day submission pass. A refund may be requested within 14 days of purchase if the Submission Packet was not useful. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. This refund policy does not limit any statutory rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
Ownership and acceptable use
You retain rights in your package and inputs. ExtensionGate retains rights in its site, scanner, rules, report templates, and branding, subject to any published third-party licenses. You may use a generated report for your own submission but may not misrepresent it as store certification or use the service to evade safeguards.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided on an "as available" basis without a promise that every issue will be detected or that a store will approve a submission. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ExtensionGate disclaims implied warranties and limits its aggregate liability to the amount you paid for the Release Pass. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
